How to Use the Field/Court Timeline to Manage Rentals

Getting Started with the Field Timeline

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click Location> Court/Field Timeline.

  3. On the Timeline page, click the Filters dropdown.

    • In the Locations field, add the facility that needs to be managed.

    • Fill in the other filters as necessary, and click Apply.

Button and Alert Overview

The following buttons and alerts can be found on the Court/Field Timeline page…

  • Create New Event: This will take you to the Add to Schedule workflow.

  • Create New Rental: This will take you to the Add to Schedule workflow for Rentals.

  • View By: Change how the Court/Field Timeline is displayed.

    • Time: If selected, time will be listed along the top of the timeline.

    • Facilities: If selected, the facilities and fields will be listed along the top of the timeline.

  • Filters: Manage the filters to determine what is displayed on the timeline.

  • Undo (Ctrl + Z), Redo (Ctrl + Shift + Z): If clicked, it will undo/redo the last edit made to the timeline.

  • Open Fullscreen: If clicked, the timeline will fill the entire window. The left and top navigation will be hidden. Click the button again to close out of the fullscreen view.

  • View Condensed/Detailed Grid: The Condensed Grid will provide a greater field of view of the timeline. The Detailed Grid will be more zoomed in on the timeline, limiting the field of view.

  • Fields Double Booked: By clicking the notification, the dropdown will display which rentals are over overlapping with each other.

Editing the Field Timeline

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click Location> Court/Field Timeline.

  3. On the Timeline page, click the Filters dropdown.

    • In the Locations field, add the facility that needs to be managed.

    • Fill in the other filters as necessary, and click Apply.

  4. On the timeline, click on a rental card on the timeline to view more information regarding it.

    • After clicking a rental, it will highlight in yellow. A panel on the right will appear, and will display all the rental information.

  5. The following fields can be edited within the panel if the rental has not be invoiced. By changing any of the below fields, the updates will also be reflected on the Rental Summary and Existing Schedule page.

    • Rental Title

    • Start Time

    • Minutes

    • Date

    • Locations

    • Field

    • Billing Profile

    • Field Notes

    • Rental Status

  6. Click Save in the Rental Panel after making edits.

NOTE: If you need to change the time or surface of a rental, you can also drag and drop it to a new surface and/or time.
