How to Email Past Registrants to Register for This Years Event

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click Communication > Create Message.

  3. Select Brand and click Next.

  4. Select Marketing Email and click Next.

  5. Select Athletes and Parents and click Next.
    ​Note: Click Skip to Compose to jump straight to the compose page without any recipients.

  6. Select Programs and click Next.

  7. Select the Past Year Program and click Next.

  8. Select Division(s) and click Next.

  9. Remove Recipients From Program(s): Select Yes and click Next.

  10. Select Current Year Program and click Next.

  11. Select Division(s) and click Next.

  12. Preview Recipient List and click Next.

    1. Note: Uncheck any recipients who should NOT be included.

  13. Select Template and click Next.

  14. Associated Program(s): Make sure to change to Current Year Program.

  15. Enter Subject and compose message.
    ​Note: If your email filters need to be updated, select one of the filters from the dashboard to return to that page and edit your filter. After editing the filters, click Skip to Compose to return to the compose page without having to confirm every selected email filter.

  16. Send Test Email to your email address (strongly recommended) and click Next.

  17. Preview Email: One final review of the message in addition to the test email.

  18. Once confirmed, select either Send Messages or Save For Later.

    1. If selecting Send Messages, a confirmation pop-up will appear.

      1. Click Yes to send.

      2. Click No to further edit.

    2. To view your saved messages, click Communication > Messaging Schedule.

  19. Once sent, a Confirmation screen will appear with the number of Profiles, Emails and Texts sent.
