Scorekeeping in the Access App

Logging in to the Access App as a Scorekeeper

To keep score within the Access App, you must be logged in as either a Scorekeeper or Director.

  1. Open the PF Access app.

  2. Press I have an event code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit Scorekeeper or Director code provided by an event director.

    • Format: XXX-XXX-XXXX

How to Add a Score as a Scorekeeper

  1. Open the PF Access app.

  2. Press I have an event code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit code provided by an event director.

    • Format: XXX-XXX-XXXX

  4. Find and press the Game Tile that you will be keeping score for.

  5. Press the Green Plus Button underneath the scoring team's score.

  6. Enter the Jersey number of the athlete that scored the point

  7. Press on the appropriate point value to add to the point.

  8. Press Submit.

How to Edit a Submitted Final Score

  1. Open the PF Access app.

  2. Press I have an event code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit code provided by an event director.

    • Format: XXX-XXX-XXXX

  4. Find the game that needs to be updated and press the Game Tile.

  5. Press Edit Final Score.

  6. Use the Bulk Score button to update the final score. Or, use the Plus buttons for both teams to manually add every point/goal within the game.

    • NOTE: Using bulk scoring will erase any existing stats and turn off individual scoring.

  7. Press Confirm Score.

  8. Enter your First Name and Last Name.

  9. Enter the Official Names (Optional)

  10. Press Submit.

How to Delete a Score

  1. Open the PF Access app.

  2. Press I have an event code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit code provided by an event director.

    • Format: XXX-XXX-XXXX

  4. Find the game that needs to be updated and press the Game Tile.

  5. Under Scores, press the Edit Icon to the left of the goal that you want to edit.

  6. If you do not see the goal, you may click Show All to view all scores.

  7. Press Delete Score.

How to Edit a Jersey Number for a Submitted Score

  1. Open the PF Access app.

  2. Press I have an event code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit code provided by an event director.

    • Format: XXX-XXX-XXXX

  4. Find the game that needs to be updated and press the Game Tile.

  5. Under Scores, press the Edit Icon to the left of the goal that you want to edit.

    • If you do not see the goal, you may click Show All to view all scores.

  6. Press on the Jersey text box and update to the correct jersey number.

  7. Press Save Changes.

How to Edit a Point Value for a Submitted Score

  1. Open the PF Access app.

  2. Press I have an event code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit code provided by an event director.

    • Format: XXX-XXX-XXXX

  4. Press the Game Tile that you will be keeping score for.

  5. Under Scores, press the Edit Icon to the left of the goal that you want to edit.

  6. If you do not see the goal, you may click Show All to view all scores.

  7. Press on the correct Point Value.

  8. Press Save Changes.

How to Submit a Final Score

  1. Open the PF Access app.

  2. Press I have an event code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit code provided by an event director.

    • Format: XXX-XXX-XXXX

  4. Press the Game Tile that you will be keeping score for.

  5. Enter the Game Score using Bulk Score or by adding points/goals manually.

  6. Press Confirm Score.

  7. Enter your First Name.

  8. Enter your Last Name.

  9. Enter the Official Names (Optional)

  10. Press Submit.

How to Add a Penalty

  1. Open the PF Access app.

  2. Press I have an event code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit code provided by an event director.

    • Format: XXX-XXX-XXXX

  4. Find and press the Game Tile that you will be keeping score for.

  5. Press the Green Plus to the right of Penalties.

  6. Press the Jersey Number text box and enter the Jersey Number of the player with the penalty.

  7. Press on the Team that the player belongs to.

  8. Select the Penalty Type.

  9. Press into the Minutes & Seconds text boxes to Add the Amount of Time that the player is in the penalty for.

  10. Press Submit.

How to Start and Stop the Penalty Timer

  1. Open the PF Access app.

  2. Press I have an event code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit code provided by an event director.

    • Format: XXX-XXX-XXXX

  4. Press the Game Tile that you will be keeping score for.

  5. Under Penalties, press the Green Play Button to start the timer, and the Red Pause Button to stop the timer.

How to Edit a Penalty's Jersey Number, Team, Type, or Time

  1. Open the PF Access app.

  2. Press I have an event code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit code provided by an event director.

    • Format: XXX-XXX-XXXX

  4. Press the Game Tile that you will be keeping score for.

  5. Under Penalties, press the Edit Icon to the left of the penalty that you want to edit.

    • If you do not see the penalty, you may click Show All to view all penalties.

  6. Press on the Jersey text box and update to the correct Jersey Number.

  7. Press on the correct Team Tile that the penalty was on.

  8. Press on the correct Penalty Type tile.

  9. Press into the Minutes & Seconds text boxes and enter the correct amount of time that the player should be in the penalty for.

  10. Press Submit.

How to Delete a Penalty

  1. Open the PF Access app.

  2. Press I have an event code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit code provided by an event director.

    • Format: XXX-XXX-XXXX

  4. Find the game that needs to be updated and press the Game Tile.

  5. Under Penalties, press the Edit Icon to the left of the penalty that you want to edit.

    • If you do not see the penalty, you may click Show All to view all penalties.

  6. Press Delete.

How to Swap Team Placement

Note: This feature can be used to the Scorekeeper's preference.
EX: If the team's bench is to the left of the scorekeeper, they may use this button to match this if it is not currently the case.

  1. Open the PF Access app.

  2. Press I have an event code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit code provided by an event director.

  4. Press the Game Tile that you will be keeping score for.

  5. Press the Blue Home/Away button under the location of the event.
