Select Your Brand(s)

Each brand has a unique database of users. This determines the database(s) that you will be filtering from.

  • You will only be able to see the brands that your account has access to on this page. This step may not be viewable based on your permissions

Message Types

Definitions

Transactional Email

Messages a recipient must receive based on their program registration(s). Users cannot opt out of these messages.

Transactional SMS

Send a 140 character message to every opted-in phone number linked to the filtered profile(s).

Transactional Email & SMS

Send both message types at one time.

Marketing Email

Messages that are not based on providing information for a program the recipient is presently signed up for. Users may opt out of these messages at any time.

Athletes

Profiles in PlayerFirst that are designated as "Athlete" in their account.

If selected, Parents will be selected as well.

Parents

Profiles in PlayerFirst that are designated as "Adult/Guardian" in their account.

If Athletes is selected, Parents will be selected as well.

Coaches

Profiles assigned to teams and/or team registrations.

Team Managers

Profiles assigned to a team as the team manager.

College Coaches

Profiles assigned as a college coach.

PlayerFirst updates our college coach list monthly, for all sports.

Imported Profiles Without Any PlayerFirst Registrations

The profiles have not registered for any programs or been rostered on a team.

Messaging Filters

Selecting multiple filters will narrow down your recipient list, decreasing the more filters you add.

  • For example, selecting a program and a school will filter to athletes that are both registered for the program and in the school.

Depending on the filters selected, the following screens will ask you to further narrow down your list.

  • For example, if you choose to filter by program, the following screen will ask you to select the program you wish to filter by.

Recipients linked to programs or divisions. Registrations based on specific programs and/or Divisions.

Teams

Customers based on specific teams.

Athlete Grad Year

Athlete graduation year range.

Athlete Age

Athlete age range.

Athlete Gender

Athletes of a specified gender.

Zip Code

Profile address is within one or more specified zip codes and radius.

State

Profile address is within one or more specified states.

Athlete Position

Athletes who play a specific position.

Products

Customers that have purchased a product.

Insurance

Division registrants that have or have not purchased insurance.

Profile Tags

Customers who belong to a profile tag (email list).

Player Evaluations

Athlete player evaluation.

School

Linked to users who attend or work for specific schools.

Registration Date

Athlete registration date range.

Waivers Valid

Athletes based on their waiver's validity.

Last Participated

Customer registration on or after a specified date.

Select Balance Due

Customers with an invoice balance due.

Lodging

Reservations linked to lodging sites.

Recruiting

Athletes participating in the recruiting platform.

Athlete Photo

Recipients linked to athletes whose photos are need to be updated.

Preview List

The Preview List should be used to spot check that the filters you used is providing you the recipient list that you were trying to achieve. Use the Dashboard tiles at the top to check the total recipients, and the table to see a preview of the first 200 recipients in the list.

Templates

Templates can be used to give yourself a starting point for your email. Search for specific templates, use the Eye button in the Actions column to preview a template, and Favorite a template to keep it on the top of the list for future email creation.
