Creating Teams
Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.
On the left navigation, click Team > Team Management.
In the Program search box, select the program you want the team to be created under.
In the Division search box, select the division you want to create the team under.
Click the Filter button.
Select Team Management in the sub navigation.
Click the Plus button to create new teams.
Select the number of teams you want to add.
Click Create Team.
Select Division: If you have two divisions selected, use this to assign the new team to a single division. Press the x on the division name that you don’t want the team to be assigned to.
Select Team Type.
Registration
Teams that athletes would accept their roster spot on, and participate in as a team in events and XPR.
Ex: 3d 2030 Red
Position Specific
Teams that athletes are not paying for.
Ex: Goalies
Holding
Teams that athletes are not paying for.
Ex: Early Commitment
Communication Only
Teams that athletes are not paying for.
Ex: Recruiting
Click Save.
How to Assign a Team a Unique Cost
Note: Use this if the cost of one or more teams in this division is different from the cost of the division.
Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.
On the left navigation, click Team > Team Management.
In the Program search box, select the program with the team you want to assign the cost to.
In the Division search box, select the division with the team you want to assign the cost to.
Select Team Management in the sub navigation.
Find the Row belonging to the team you want to assign the cost to.
Type the cost of the team into the field under the Cost column.
Click Save.
How to Assign a Team a Unique Parent Email Setting
Notes:
Use this if one or more teams in this division should have a parent email setting different from the site-wide setting that makes all team rosters have the same parent email setting.
This setting only applies to teams registered for an event.
Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.
On the left navigation, click Team > Team Management.
In the Program search box, select the program with the team you want to assign a unique parent email setting to.
In the Division search box, select the division with the team you want to assign a unique parent email setting to.
Click the Filter button.
Select Team Management in the sub navigation.
Find the Row belonging to the team you want to assign a unique parent email setting to. (You can search the Team Name on the search box above the list of teams and press enter on your keyboard.).
Under the Parent Email column, choose Yes if a parent email should be required, choose No if a parent email should not be required. Default defers to the website specific setting.
Click Save.
