How to Create and Edit Program & Division Waiver Questions

How to Create Program-Level Waiver Questions

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click Program > Registration Details.

  3. Click the Pencil button for the program the waiver question needs to be added to.

  4. Click the Waivers tab.

  5. In the Create New Question section, input the following info:

    • Question Name: Enter the question.

    • Question Type: Select the type of question.

    • First Value: The first value the user will see.

    • Required: The default is to NOT require the question to be answered. The box must be checked to require an answer.

    • Ask When: Select the criteria for when the question will be asked.

      • Always

      • Tryout Registration

      • Not a Tryout Registration

    • Answer Editable: Enable to allow users to edit their answer post-registration.

    • Editable Start/End Date: Enter the dates users can edit their answers.

    • Click Add Question.

  6. Repeat step 5 for any additional questions.

  7. Click the Save button.

How to Create Division-Level Waiver Questions

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click Program > Registration Details.

  3. Click the Pencil icon for the program the waiver question needs to be added to.

  4. Click the Divisions tab.

  5. Find the division that needs questions added, and click the Pencil button.

  6. In the Create New Question section, input the following info:

    • Question Name: Enter the question.

    • Question Type: Select the type of question.

    • First Value: The first value the user will see.

    • Required: The default is to NOT require the question to be answered. The box must be checked to require an answer.

    • Ask When: Select the criteria for when the question will be asked.

      • Always

      • Tryout Registration

      • Not a Tryout Registration

    • Answer Editable: Enable to allow users to edit their answer post-registration.

    • Editable Start/End Date: Enter the dates users can edit their answers.

    • Click Add Question.

  7. Repeat step 6for any additional questions.

  8. Click the Save button.

How to Edit a Waiver Question

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click Program > Registration Details.

  3. Click the Pencil icon for the program the waiver question needs to be added to.

  4. Navigate to either the Waiver tab, or the Division that has the Waiver questions that need to be edited.

  5. In the Questions table, find the question that needs to be edited, and click the Pencil button.

  6. After the page refreshes users can modify existing answer options, add new answer options, and add explanations of the question.
