Different Ways to Upload Rosters in PlayerFirst

Team > Team Management > Roster Management

  • Upload athletes to a registered team within a specific program and division, one team at a time.

  • Ideal when a director has already completed the Roster Template and needs support finishing their PlayerFirst roster.

Team > Team Reporting > Rosters

  • Upload multiple teams across different divisions to a selected event.

  • The Roster Template will automatically adjust based on the selected data source.

How to Upload a Roster on the Team Management Page

  1. Log in to your brand's PlayerFirst Website.

  2. On the backend, navigate to the Team>Team Management page.

  3. On the Roster Management tab, filter by both a Program and Division. Click Filter.

    • You must filter by at least one Division in order to upload a roster.

  4. Click the Plus button above the table.

  5. The Import Players page has a Roster Template that should be downloaded, filled out and uploaded. Select the team the roster needs to be added to, upload the Roster Template file, and click Continue.

  6. Confirm the details are correct for the athletes on the Preview page, and click Save.

How to Upload Rosters on the Team Reporting Page

  1. Log in to your brand's PlayerFirst Website.

  2. On the backend, navigate to the Team>Team Reporting page.

  3. On the Rosters tab, filter by a Program. Click Filter.

  4. Click the Plus button above the table.

  5. On the Add to Team page, select the Data Source. Once a Data Source is selected, the Templated CSV will change to the one that must be filled out and uploaded.

  6. Upload the template, then click Continue.

  7. Confirm the details are correct for the athletes on the Preview page, and click Save.
