Setting Up and Logging into PF Pay

Days Before Your Event

  • Double check your event's shop items are set up correctly, and that PF Pay is enabled for your event with the appropriate dates.

  • Turn on your iPads and Stripe devices and give them each time to update as needed.

  • Charge your iPad as well as any battery packs you may have.

Logging in to PF Pay

  1. Open the PF Pay app on your iPad.

  2. Once opened, you will be presented to Log In with a Code.

  3. Use the code provided to you by the brand.

Admin Looking for the PF Pay Code

  1. Log in to your brand's PlayerFirst website.

  2. Go to Program>Registration Details and click the Edit button for the event you need.

  3. On the Basics tab, the PF Pay Access Code field will display the code needed to log in if PF Pay for the event is enabled.

Selecting Device Location

  1. Once logged in, you will be asked to select your device location. Select the location the iPad is being stationed at. If you are unsure of the location, or the appropriate location is not listed, press Not Sure.

  2. To reference which location was selected, press the Hamburger Menu. The location will display at the bottom of the menu.

How to Change the Location Selected

  1. Press the Hamburger Menu in the top right corner of the app.

  2. Under LOCATION, press Change Location.

  3. Select the updated location.

Enabling Required Permissions

  1. After logging into PF Pay, ensure that the Required Permissions are enabled.

  2. Click the Hamburger Menu in the top right corner of the app.

  3. Select Device Settings.

  4. Under the Required Permissions, ensure that Bluetooth, Location Services, and Camera are enabled/allowed.

    • If not enabled, press the buttons next to each field to enable.
