Access App: Event Visibility

How to Activate Your Event for the Access App

To make an event available in the PlayerFirst Access App, open its Access App content and set its visibility. There's no separate "Activate" button — setting an event's Access App Visibility to anything other than Hidden is what activates it.

1. How to Open an Event's Access App Content

  1. Sign in to a PlayerFirst website.

  2. On the left navigation, click Communication > Access App.

  3. On the Access App Management page, find your event in the Leagues & Tournaments table.

  4. Click the pencil icon (Edit Access App Content).

2. How to Activate the Event via App Settings

  1. On the Edit Access App Content page, the App Settings tab is selected by default.

  2. Under Access App Visibility, choose when the event shows in the app:

    • Hidden — the event never appears, and is not active in the Access App

    • Show During Event Dates — activates the event; it's visible 30 days before/after the event dates

    • Custom Date Range — activates the event; set explicit Start Showing / Stop Showing dates

  3. Under Access App Schedule Visibility, check This event schedule is in PlayerFirst if applicable, and set Start Showing Scheduled Events to control when the schedule goes live (leave blank to require the date on each game instead).

  4. Review Access App Codes (Scorekeeper, Referee, Coaches, On-Site Product, Directors, and PF Pay codes).

  5. Click Save Changes.

NOTE: You can confirm activation back on the Access App Management table: the Access App column shows a checkmark for active events and an X for inactive ones.

NOTE: The Access App Codes are read-only display fields — they cannot be edited from this tab.
